Maybe I should have said that sex is pivotal to all these areas/sub genres and in some cases it is the basis that the story/ romance hangs on, as it often is in BDSM stories.

Thanks for leaving a comment.Jennifer Denyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05874915507870085008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6649512488342220872.post-45072888657096029212012-06-11T13:04:21.143+01:002012-06-11T13:04:21.143+01:00Oh yes. I agree with everything you said but ...Hi Jennifer. I agree with everything you said but I would like to add that in an erotic romance, the sex is pivotal for the story to move forward. Or in my opinion, at least. For example, I just read your book, The Sub Who Switched, and the sex in it is necessary for the story to progress.Lynn Tylerhttp://lynntylerbooks.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6649512488342220872.post-73708217889543589492012-06-11T10:00:55.841+01:002012-06-11T10:00:55.841+01:00Hi Jennifer, I so totally agree with you. The star...Hi Jennifer, I so totally agree with you. The start of my romance reading was made with books written by Johanna Kingsley, Stephanie Laurens, Amanda Quick and so on. The sex is played down and I think that is a comfort zone - everybody's. Of course when I began reading Stormy Glenn, Jan Bowles, and the like I was a bit shocked. But it didn't long to get hooked.
